There is a load of rubbish talked about Hypnosis, it is not like you see in films, it is not a scam & stage  
  shows are not faked, in fact hypnosis is something that effects us every day, but you do not realise that  
  it is happening, for instance when you drive a car, changing gear becomes instinctive for instance, just try  
  to think where reverse gear is, when you are not in the car, but I bet that you do not have to look at the  
  gear leaver every time that you want to reverse, that is because that your subconscious mind, has learnt  
  what to do, but your conscious mind, doesn't know, your brain is in two halves the left and the right.

  Hypnosis is no more than putting someone in a relaxed state, and leaving a suggestion in the subconscious,  
  part of the brain, when hypnotised a person may appear to be asleep but in fact is more awake than, when  
  going about there normal life, 90% of people can be hypnotised, in fact the more intelligent you are the  
  easier it is to be hypnotised, when hypnotised you hear everything and remember everything that is said to  
  you, in fact you can get someone to read a whole book, while hypnotised, and if they are told that they  
  can remember every word, and on what page it is on, they will be able to do so, just like changing gear,  
  fantastic for anyone studying for a exam.  
     
  Hypnosis can be learnt by anyone, it is not hard to learn, so don't think that when you see a hypnotist do a  
  stage show that he has any special powers because he hasn't.  
     
  for hypnosis to work, you have to trust, and beleave that it will work,  and if you truly believe that it will   
  work then I can hypnotise you by just shaking there hand.
